13 years of building someone else's dream. Now it's time to build my own.
Aaron "AXN JXN" Jackson · Denver, CO
Hey, I'm Aaron Jackson — AXN JXN. For the past 13 years, I've been that guy on the phone moving freight—building real relationships, closing deals, and helping train more than 50 salespeople to do the same. I made solid money doing it… but it was always building someone else's dream.
With a growing family, success has taken on a new meaning. What if the next 13 years were about building something that's actually mine? Something I could grow, pour everything into, and hand down to them one day?
That's when I started digging. Turns out, millions of small businesses across the U.S. are owned by Baby Boomers who've built incredible companies over decades. Around 2 to 3 million of these businesses are facing a transition as owners retire—most without a succession plan. People call it the Silver Tsunami. A massive wave of ownership changes that could shift trillions in value and affect millions of jobs and communities.
A lot of these owners are just closing up shop, walking away from decades of work and real value. But I don't see a disaster—I see the biggest opportunity of our generation. Profitable businesses, loyal customers, hardworking teams, proven systems. Ready for someone to step in and take them to the next level.
So here I am—getting started. Buying businesses, building them up, figuring it out day by day. I'm sharing the whole thing as it happens: the deals that go through, the ones that fall apart, what the numbers really show, and how faith helps keep things steady when it's messy. No scripts. No shortcuts. If you want to follow along and see how it plays out—welcome. Let's see what we can build.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."John 3:16
